Tiazha Jackson, 5’5″ American Guard from Rutgers University – Camden NCAA D3, left on a weekend tryout in Girona, Spain.
Tiazah attended the Women’s Professional Program in September 2024 in order to get her shot at playing pro in Europe.
Her last season in organized competition was at Rutgers University – Camden for the 2021-22 season. There she averaged a solid stat line over two seasons of 9.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists in 16 games.
This week a team paid a visit to one of the practices and invited her to tryout with the team over the weekend practicing and playing an exhibition game. If all goes well she will receive a contract to stay and play the season with the team.
This will be Tiazha Jackson’s first experience playing basketball with a team in Europe.
