Valencia – One of the Sunniest Cities in Europe! On average, Valencia rains only 44 days out of the year. That means 321 days of sunshine! Its also one of the safest Cities in Europe with an extremely low rate of violent crimes. Valencia is very international with many American’s and English speaking Europeans living and working within the city limits. That’s without saying, Valencia is located on the Mediterranean coast, which provides the perfect atmosphere to cool off and enjoy downtime between trainings.
Expert Professional Coaching and Instruction – Whether its EuroProBasket coaches or Valencia Basket coaches and trainers, your kids will be receiving the best Europe has to offer. We invite coaches from all over the World to teach our campers the fundamentals of European basketball. No detail is overlooked, and every aspect has been planned and organized by professionals. Trust that your children will be receiving coaching that typically only Elite professionals experience.
Variety – There are many different programs and camps to choose from. In past camps we’ve hosted NBA coaches, skills trainers, NCAA coaches and European professional coaches.
L’Alqueria del Basket – The best basketball facilities in Europe! When we say the best, we mean it! 13 courts, two weight rooms, fully staffed medical clinic, classrooms and a restaurant, all within the facilities. With the fact that Valencia Basket is one of the biggest clubs in Europe, and the facilities are frequented by many Elite Basketball players, chances are well know players will be around for a camp visit. Lastly, but not least, it’s one of the only airconditioned basketball training facilities in Spain so rest assured your children will be comfortable training with us.
Safe and Fun Environment – The comfort of home away from home. Our staff will make each child comfortable and integrated in their new environment for all of our summer basketball camps. Housing options include resorts, residences, mountain cabins and hotels, located within the Valencia area as well as surrounding areas. Staff members are trained, qualified and certified to work with youth athletes. This is an experience no player will forget.
This is not a kids’ camp. It is a professional program, run by professionals, for players aged 15 to 18 who are set on reaching the highest level they can and want to get there faster than a season at home will take them.
You train where Valencia Basket trains: L’Alqueria del Basket — thirteen courts, the largest basketball facility in Europe, home to a club currently ranked among the top four in Europe. Your coaches are FIBA-certified European professionals who work in this game for a living, not camp staff hired for the summer.
A week here looks like a pro’s week. Two practices a day. A competitive game every week, professionally filmed and uploaded, so you leave with real footage — most players arrive with none, and nothing costs a serious player more opportunities than having nothing to show. Between sessions you sit down with the people who actually do this and learn how recruitment works in Europe and the NCAA: what clubs look for, what a first contract really looks like, how players get seen.
You are watched the whole time. Our staff evaluate every player across the week, and players who are ready are recommended into our network of clubs and universities.
Nobody is promised a contract or a scholarship. That is not something any program can hand you, and any program telling you otherwise is selling something. What we guarantee is this: the most demanding, most professional week a serious player can get, and an honest assessment of where you actually stand.
Boys 15–18. Hosted by EuroProBasket at L’Alqueria del Basket, Valencia.
The program price includes:
The price does not include:
A full school year inside a professional club. L’Alqueria Academy is for players aged 13 to 18 who want their basketball and their education to run on the same timetable, in the same place, for ten months — not for two weeks in the summer.
You play for a Valencia Basket club team in Spanish league competition, train at L’Alqueria del Basket, and study at Mas Camarena, one of Spain’s established private schools. You live on the Mas Camarena campus with nutrition built around an athlete’s day, so training, school and recovery sit minutes apart instead of across a city.
This is the closest a player can get to growing up inside a European club system without having been born into one. It is a full academic year and it is a commitment, for the player and for the family.
Boys and girls 13–18. September to June, in Valencia. Read the full program page: Europe’s Elite Boarding School.
The program price includes:
One week, one skill. Shooting is the skill that decides who keeps getting on the floor. This week is built around your shot and nothing else — mechanics, footwork, balance, and the volume of repetitions it takes to make a change actually hold.
You train at L’Alqueria del Basket, Valencia Basket’s home and the largest basketball facility in Europe, with coaches who work in the European club system year-round. The coaching is individual: your form gets looked at, corrected, and rebuilt rep by rep, then tested in live 1-on-1, 2-on-2 and 3-on-3 — because a shot that only works unguarded is not a shot yet.
Boys and girls born 2012–2016. One-week sessions in June and July, in Valencia.
Key Features of Our Basketball Camp:
The week you fix your fundamentals. Skills Camp is for younger players who want to come back in September clearly better than they left. Ball handling, passing, finishing, footwork — and the decision-making that turns those into a player rather than a set of drills.
You train at L’Alqueria del Basket, Valencia Basket’s home and the largest basketball facility in Europe, with coaches who work in the European club system year-round. Days combine technical work, athletic development, and competitive 1-on-1 and 3-on-3, so what you are taught in the morning gets tested the same afternoon.
Boys and girls born 2012–2016. One-week sessions in June and July, in Valencia.

What parents ask before booking a EuroProBasket junior program in Valencia, Spain — which program suits which age, supervision, accommodation and what is included.
EuroProBasket runs four junior options in collaboration with Valencia Basket at L'Alqueria del Basket: Junior Pro Camp for boys aged 15 to 18 each August; L'Alqueria Academy, a September-to-June basketball boarding school for boys and girls aged 13 to 18; and week-long Shooting Academy and Skills Camp sessions during the summer for younger players.
Junior Pro Camp is for boys aged 15 to 18. L'Alqueria Academy accepts boys and girls aged 13 to 18. The summer Shooting Academy and Skills Camp sessions are for boys and girls born between 2012 and 2016. Programs are grouped by playing level as well as age — intermediate, advanced and elite.
It depends on the program. L'Alqueria Academy students live on full board at the Mas Camarena resort. The summer Shooting Academy and Skills Camp offer half-board and full-board options at the same resort. Junior Pro Camp does not include accommodation, and a parent or guardian must be in Valencia for the whole camp. All staff working with youth athletes are trained, qualified and certified.
All junior programs train at L'Alqueria del Basket in Valencia — 13 courts, two weight rooms, a fully staffed medical clinic, classrooms and a restaurant, and one of the few air-conditioned basketball training facilities in Spain. The complex is owned by Valencia Basket, and coaching comes from EuroProBasket and Valencia Basket staff.
Each program is priced separately, and cost depends on the program, its length, and whether you take a room-and-board option. Current pricing for every junior program is listed on this page. For help choosing the right program for your child's age and level, contact EuroProBasket.
Junior Pro Camp includes class sessions on European professional and US collegiate recruitment, so players understand both routes. EuroProBasket has a track record of placing athletes into professional club and university development systems, and older juniors can progress into the University Prep Program or the Euro Professional Program.
