covid 19 update european summer league

Due to the current circumstances and travel restrictions imposed by the Spanish and European governments in response to the coronavirus pandemic, Europrobasket has taken the decision to postpone this year’s European Summer League until June 2021. The safety and wellbeing of our players and staff is our highest priority and we have reason to believe our June program is too soon for team training and competition to begin. We also believe it will be impossible to guarantee the quality and opportunity our staff works so hard to offer to our players with the current situation.

All players that are already registered for the European Summer League are advised to contact Europrobasket director Brad Kanis via email: bradkanis@europrobasket.com regarding their programs.

We are pleased to announce an alternative to this year’s European Summer League. Our August and September programs will go ahead as previously planned. It is our understanding that travel restrictions will be lifted making it possible for international travel. We also have been informed, according to Spain’s reintegration phases, that team training and competition will resume sometime in June. This buffer of time assures us that our program will be an accessible and safe environment for our players and staff. L’Alqueria del Basket facility staff is taking extra precautions to clean and disinfect the facilities and equipment. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. We are looking forward to getting back to what we love. Crossover to Pro with Europrobasket!
