Yes. The EuroPro Institute combines daily professional basketball training in Valencia with a full university degree at a partner Spanish university. Students choose from fields including business, sports management, international relations and law, delivered through Universidad Europea or ESBS – European Sport Business School.
The Institute runs a full academic year, September to June, and is open to players aged 18 to 33. It suits players who want a realistic professional pathway in Europe without giving up a degree — whether the goal is to sign professionally or to build a career in the sports industry.
Team training runs Monday to Friday at L'Alqueria del Basket, with morning and afternoon practices plus weight sessions, and games during weekday evenings. Players compete with EuroProBasket, with a local Valencian team, and potentially with the Universidad Europea team. EuroProBasket games continue until a player is placed with a Spanish club.
Yes. EuroProBasket provides guidance and support for international students through the visa application process, and arranges accommodation in student residences or private apartments. Meal plans are available depending on the accommodation chosen, and students receive information on public transport, local travel and airport transfers.
There are two main components: university tuition, set by the partner university, plus the EuroProBasket program fee — with accommodation, meal plan and medical coverage on top.
