DANIEL GHASSEMI

Daniel Ghassemi, 6’4″ Canadian Guard, signed his first basketball contract in Peñíscola, Spain for the 2022-23 season. Daniel has experience playing with the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu CEGEP Division 2 University team in his hometown of Canada. During his time there he injured his meniscus which sidetracked his basketball career. Two years later he decided he wanted to pursue a basketball career and received information about EuroProBasket from his sister. He made the investment in his future and attended the program in September 2022. Within just 3 weeks of his Euro Professional Program he was offered a contract with a team in Peñíscola, Spain. Daniel Ghassemi had this to say about his time at EuroProBasket: “When I arrived at EuroPro, I was amazed by the facility.
