Marcus Buckridge, 6’4″ American Small Forward from Wells College NCAA D3, signed in Portugal for the 2024-25 basketball season. Marcus attended the European Summer League 6 Week Program to train and prepare for the longest running summer league in Europe. Before attending EuroProBasket Marcus Buckridge played for the Coney Island Thunder ABA in 2023-24 and at Wells College in 2022-23 averaging 6.6 minutes, 3.4 points, 0.7 rebounds in 13 games. During the European Summer League in Valencia, Spain Marcus Buckridge showed why he belongs on a team in Europe averaging 11 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1.3 steals, shooting 59% from the field earning a 14 point efficiency rating in 30 mins of game play. He earned the “Cultura de Esfuerzo” award given to the player that shows the best character, work ethic and overall effort. He garnered the attention of teams in attendance and received an offer before the end of the Summer League.
