EuroProBasket female player Keanna Gary left on a tryout this week with a team in Porto, Portugal. Keanna arrived to EuroProBasket just two weeks ago with ambitions to play professional basketball in Europe.
Keanna played collegiate basketball at the highest level in the USA. She started her collegiate career in 2014 at Indiana Purdue University Fort Wayne (NCAA D1). After two seasons she transferred to Indiana Institute of Technology (NAIA). She completed her senior season in 2018 as a First Team All-American.
After a short stay in Valencia, Keanna received interest from multiple teams. Regardless of her 4 year gap, EuroProBasket was able to get her in a position to start her career. She is now in Porto, Portugal with her new team and the option to stay and play the remainder of the season is up to her.
