Pep Ortega

Pep Ortega, a Spanish native grew up playing basketball in Spain. He began his career in Club Joventut Badalona’s Junior and EBA teams. He later moved to Gijon Baloncesto with their LEB team and then onto CB Vic, Unio Basquet Sabadell, CB Penas, then onto CB Prat, all with their LEB Plata teams. He then signed with CB Sant Josep Girona, played two seasons with them in LEB Gold and moved to Ford Burgos and became one of the best players in LEB Gold. He was offered a position in the ACB, first with Estudiantes and then with Basquet Manresa. He came to Europrobasket to sign with a team outside of Spain. Through our contacts we signed him to Club Trouville in LUB, the Uruguayan 1st Division.
