Women´s Programs

Women play professional basketball overseas by being seen by European clubs before a contract is offered — not at a one-day tryout, but over weeks of training and real games. EuroProBasket runs a three-week Women’s Professional Program in Valencia, Spain: training twice a day, playing games against European teams, and producing competitive game film that goes directly to clubs.

You train at L’Alqueria del Basket, Valencia Basket’s 15,000 m² complex of 13 courts and the largest basketball training facility in Europe. Valencia Basket competes in Liga Femenina Endesa and EuroLeague Women, still uses La Fonteta for its youth teams and men’s U22, and plays its senior games at the 15,600-seat Roig Arena. Top European teams, players, agents and scouts are in these facilities year-round, scouting professionals and youth prospects alike.

Programs are run by fully professional, international, FIBA and nationally certified coaches and trainers. Players leave the program on tryouts with clubs across Europe — most a short flight or train ride from Valencia. All players improve during their program, and many stay for the remainder of the season through our contacts with teams in Europe and the rest of the World. We do not guarantee any player a team. We guarantee the opportunity — and since 2015 more than 400 EuroProBasket players have signed professional contracts in over 25 countries.
