Valsenia Michie, 5’5″ American Guard from Baruch University NCAA D3, left on a weekend tryout with a team in Catalunya, Spain.
Valsenia is attending the Women’s Professional Program this September 2024. She’s been training for a week with EuroProBasket’s Euroleague Women’s coach Maros Kovacik in preparation for an opportunity to sign with a team in Europe.
Her last competitive season was 2021-2022 with Baruch College in which she played 21 games averaging 24.3 minutes, 5 rebounds, 2.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists.
She left over the weekend to train with the team and play an exibition game. At the end of the tryout she could be offered a spot on the team for the 2024-25 season. This will be Val’s first experience playing basketball overseas.
