Six years at Antibes, and a national title
Maxime came up through Antibes Sharks, six years in the French club system, from U15 Regional to the U18 France national level. In 2025 that Antibes group won the U18 France national championship, taking the Final Four. He was also called up to the club’s Espoirs squad in Pro B.
At 6’7″ he is a forward who wants the rim. He slashes, finishes through contact, and has a midrange jumper that punishes sagging defenders.
Defensively he guards the interior and rebounds on both glasses. That is production that does not depend on his shot falling.
Going from U15 Regional to the U18 France national level inside the same club is not a straight line. He kept earning the next level up.
