A basketball tryout in Spain, in a coastal town on the Costa Brava in Catalunya, is the next step for a 19-year-old forward from Sweden. Noah Boyewa earned the invitation immediately after finishing 8 weeks in the EuroProBasket Euro Professional Program in Valencia.

One Club, Two Senior Seasons in Sweden

Noah has been with the Trelleborg Pirates since 2019. He came up through the club, played the Swedish Youth Championships from U17 to U19, and was in the senior rotation as a teenager.

In 2024-25 he played 27 games in the Basketettan and started 10 of them. He averaged 5.7 points and 2.7 rebounds in 15.9 minutes, shot 43.8% from three, and finished with a +8.9 plus-minus.

In 2025-26 he moved up to the Superettan. Over 18 games his minutes rose to 19.0 a night and his scoring to 6.2 points, with 2.8 rebounds and 0.7 steals. He made 51.1% of his twos.

Those are two straight seasons of real minutes against grown men before his 20th birthday.

What a Coach Is Getting

Noah is a physical, strong forward who shoots with high accuracy from the three-point line and plays in the paint with strength and athleticism. A coach can use him to space the floor on one possession and finish inside on the next.

Defensively he gives a coach options. He has the strength to defend inside and the mobility to stay in front of smaller, quicker players on the perimeter.

Eight Weeks in Valencia

Noah arrived in Valencia in August 2026 for 8 weeks in the Euro Professional Program. He played at least 8 games in that time, several of them against Tercera FEB teams. One of his games, against CB Godella’s junior team on 31 August, is on film in full and is part of his profile.

Against the Tercera FEB teams he showed he can compete at that level. He spaced the floor, used his strength in the paint, and defended both inside and on the perimeter against senior players in Spain.

He also grew over those 8 weeks, as a professional and as a player.

What Earned Noah Boyewa a Basketball Tryout in Spain

Noah Boyewa is a 19-year-old Swedish forward who earned a tryout with a club in Catalunya, Spain for the 2026-27 season. The invitation came immediately after he completed 8 weeks in the EuroProBasket Euro Professional Program in Valencia, where he played at least 8 games, several against Tercera FEB teams. Before Valencia he played two senior seasons with the Trelleborg Pirates in Sweden’s Basketettan and Superettan.

What earned it was game film, stats and exposure, along with a recommendation from our staff. He had 45 senior games of numbers from Sweden, and then he showed in Spain that he can compete against Tercera FEB teams. That is what gave him this opportunity.

A tryout is an earned opportunity. What happens from here is up to Noah.

If you want 8 weeks like Noah’s, I would start with the Euro Professional Program in Valencia. Then look at the players signed and committed since 2015.
