Position: Forward
City: Catalunya, Spain
Year: 2026-27
A team in Catalunya, Spain has signed a 19-year-old Swedish forward for the 2026-27 season. Noah Boyewa signs in Spain after winning his spot at a tryout in a coastal town on the Costa Brava, less than a month after finishing 8 weeks in the EuroProBasket Euro Professional Program in Valencia.
Noah came up through the Trelleborg Pirates, where he has played since 2019. He went through the Swedish Youth Championships from U17 to U19, and by 17 he was earning minutes with the senior team.
His first senior season came in the Basketettan in 2024-25. Across 27 games and 10 starts he averaged 5.7 points and 2.7 rebounds in 15.9 minutes, made 43.8% of his threes and posted a +8.9 plus-minus.
In 2025-26 he stepped up to the Superettan. His minutes climbed to 19.0 a game and he scored 6.2 points with 2.8 rebounds. He made 51.1% inside the arc and more than tripled his steals, from 0.2 to 0.7 a game.
That is 45 senior games in Sweden, all of them as a teenager.
Noah is a strong, physical forward. He stretches a defense from the three-point line, where he shoots with high accuracy, and he can take the ball into the paint and score through contact with his strength and athleticism.
On defense he covers two kinds of matchups. His strength lets him hold his ground against bigger players inside, and his mobility lets him stay in front of smaller, quicker guards on the perimeter. That gives a coach one player for two kinds of lineups.
Noah spent August and September 2026 in Valencia with the Euro Professional Program. It was his first period of basketball outside Sweden, with practice every day and games against Spanish teams.
He played 8+ games in the program, several of them against Tercera FEB teams, and showed he could compete at that level. His full game against CB Godella’s junior team on 31 August was recorded and is part of his film.
Over those 8 weeks he grew as a player and in how he prepares every day. He left Valencia with game minutes and film in Spain to back up what his Swedish numbers already said.
Noah Boyewa, a 19-year-old Swedish forward from the Trelleborg Pirates, signed with a team in Catalunya, Spain for the 2026-27 season. He was invited to a tryout on the Costa Brava immediately after completing 8 weeks in the EuroProBasket Euro Professional Program in Valencia, and he signed less than a month after the program ended.
Game film, stats and exposure opened the door, along with a recommendation from our staff. At the tryout he had to show all of it again, live, in a new gym with new teammates. He did, and the team signed him.
This is his first season outside Sweden. In Spain, production is what moves a player up the system, and Noah now has a full season to build it.
In the Euro Professional Program, players compete in games against Spanish and European opposition and are coached every day by FIBA-certified European coaches. EuroProBasket has over a decade of experience, and 400+ players have signed and committed in 25+ different countries since 2015. Receipts, not promises.
If you want to follow Noah’s path, I would start with the Euro Professional Program in Valencia. Then look through the players who have signed and committed with EuroProBasket.
