Covid-19 Update
Spain has implemented a series of de-escalation phases that will gradually reduce restrictions on movement. This includes plans to ease restrictions on travel which would include opening borders for national and eventually international travel. The Spanish government has extended the state of emergency and restrictions for international travelers arriving to Spanish borders until June 15th. Any travelers arriving from abroad will be evaluated and advised to self-quarantine for 14 days. Only essential workers or residents of Spain will be allowed entry during the period between now and June 15th 2020.
Europrobasket International Academy facilities, L’Alqueria del Basket, is open and receiving players from the professional team to take part in individual workouts. This started last week on May 11th 2020. Valencia Basket, L’Alqueria and Europrobasket kids summer programs in July are moving forward as originally planned as long as rules and regulations permit. Extra precautions have been taken by the cleaning and medical staff of L’Alqueria to guarantee the safety of athletes in attendance.
Europrobasket programs are scheduled to commence August 2nd 2020 as long as travel and social distancing rules permit. Due to the length of time between the end of the State of Emergency (June 15th) and the start of the program in August (August 2nd), we believe the program will be unaffected. The same goes for the September and later programs. Please feel free to make plans and register at your convenience.
Our staff is dedicated to providing the safest and best quality service to its players. We will continue to monitor the situation here in Spain and across the world.
