Europrobasket player Judy Jones, signed her 4th professional basketball contract in Spain, with a team in Liga Feminina 2. Judy played for Grand Canyon University NCAA DI from 2012-2014. She was named Pacwest Player of the year and Pacwest Newcomer of the Year during here time there. Halfway through her senior year she tore her acl, which made it very difficult for her to get interest from teams overseas. During her first workouts with Europrobasket it was obvious that Judy had the work ethic and skill to play professional basketball in Europe. She had tryouts with Unigirona, one of the top teams in Europe. She also received offers from multiple teams in Spain. She ended up signing with a team in the 4th division. She lead her team to a championship that season, which moved them up a division. The following year she resigned with the same team and led them to a Championship, moving them up a division as well. She also received MVP honors for the league. The following year, after moving her team up two divisions, she was now competing in a professional league. Spain’s Liga Feminina 2. With a successful season there she received offers from teams inside and outside of Spain. She accepted to play with one of the biggest clubs in Spain, in the Liga Feminina 2. Due to her hard work and constant determination, Judy has made a very successful career in Europe. We look forward to seeing many more successful seasons to come!
