Europrobasket player, American guard Taneka Rubin, left on a week tryout with a team in the Liga de Basquete Feminino, Portugal’s Top Division. After spending just a few days in the Europrobasket program, 5’10” Guard from Florida A&M University got an opportunity to demonstrate her talent to a Top Division Portuguese team. Averaging 15.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game for Florida A&M University in NCAA D1. Taneka went on to play for Barking Abbey in London, England for a full season. Taneka then joined Europrobasket International Academy where she quickly verified her previous high level experience by showing a high basketball IQ, and received a tryout offer from Portugal in just days!
