BERKE HENRY BLOOMFIELD

Berke Henry Bloomfield, a 6’7” Canadian Power Forward from Toronto, Canada, signed in Cordoba Spain for the 2025-26 basketball season. A dedicated athlete from the recent August-September session of the EuroProBasket Euro Professional Program in Valencia, Spain, Berke has officially started his professional basketball career in Europe!

This move marks a significant milestone in Bloomfield’s career as it is his first experience playing in Europe, representing a fantastic opportunity for him to climb the ranks in the competitive world of European basketball.

Adding to the great opportunity, Bloomfield is joining his friend and teammate from the EuroProBasket program, who also signed with the Córdoba team. Born in Toronto, Canada, on September 14, 1999, Bloomfield was primarily raised and educated in Cuba. His basketball background includes playing in the Cuban Superior League with several provincial teams: Sancti Spiritus (2024-25), Las Tunas (2023-24) and Holguin (2022-23).

Berke’s ultimate long-term goal is to play professional basketball at the highest level in Spain drawing inspiration from his idol, Cuban player Jasiel Rivero who also played for Valencia Basket’s 1st team. He’s already taken that first step into making that dream a reality.
