Chris Whitson first joined EuroProBasket in 2022, attending the European Summer League multiple times. These experiences proved invaluable, providing him with the essential tools and exposure to adapt and develop as a European player. His hard work, determination, and exceptional shooting ability quickly became evident, setting him apart on the court.

Originally from Australia, Whitson made the move to Spain in 2023, embarking on a professional career that has seen him consistently improve and make his mark. His journey includes playing for CB Mollerussa Spain in 2023-24, followed by a season with CB Lorriguilla’s Senior men’s team and 3×3 travel team in 2024-25.

EuroProBasket played a crucial role in Whitson’s adaptation to the European style of play, providing him with the necessary training, guidance, and exposure to scouts and teams. His consistent performance, including an impressive 12.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.1 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game over 13 games in the 2022-23 EuroProBasket Summer League & Euro Professional Program, showcased his potential and paved the way for his continued success.
