David Petit, a dynamic 6’0” French Point Guard, has officially signed with a team for the 2025-26 basketball season, marking another significant step in his European career. Petit’s journey, which began with two impactful years at Seward Community College in Kansas USA, has been meticulously guided and accelerated by various EuroProBasket programs, demonstrating the organization’s commitment to player development and professional placement.

Petit’s initial foray into European basketball saw him sign with a team in Valencia, Spain, last season following his first experience at EuroProBasket. His strong performance garnered offers from other teams within the same league. However, driven by an ambition to ascend to a higher division, Petit made the strategic decision to return to EuroProBasket. He participated in the European Summer League in June 2025 and the intensive Euro Professional Program in August 2025, further honing his skills and increasing his visibility among European scouts and coaches.

Following the completion of the Euro Professional Program, Petit embarked on a rigorous schedule of four tryouts with various teams, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of his potential options. This broad spectrum of opportunities allowed him to carefully select a team that aligns with his professional aspirations for the upcoming season.
