DONOVAN SAINE

Donovan Saine, 6’5″ American Forward from Hocking College NJCAA, signed in Extremadura, Spain for the remainder of the 2021-22 season. Donovan Saine attended EuroProBasket following a year hiatus from basketball due to Covid-19. His last season playing was at Hocking Junior College for the 2019-20 basketball season. There he averaged 13 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.4 steals while shooting 42.9% from the two. During the European Summer League in Valencia Donovan put up solid numbers with averages of 13.8 points, 12.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.8 steals while receiving a 18.4 efficiency rating. His performance was enough to gain attention from a team in Extremadura, Spain. He signed his first contract overseas with the team and he’s already played his first game with his new team in which he had an outstanding performance adding 33 points, 20 rebounds and a 44 efficiency rating to the stat sheet!
