Godwin Boahen, 5’11” Canadian/Ghanian Point Guard from University of Illinois at Chicago NCAA D1, signed in Ireland for the 2021-22 season. Godwin Boahen played his last season of collegiate basketball at UIC which competes in the Horizon League in NCAA DI. His senior season was 2019-20 in which he averaged 10.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.2 steals in 35 games playing 29 mins per game. Following that season he struggled to get started playing professionally due to Covid-19. He attended EuroProBasket in September of 2021 and proved he was ready to help a team at the professional level in Europe. He signed his first professional basketball contract overseas in Ireland and will finish the 2021-22 season there.
