JAVIER NICOLAU

Europrobasket player Javier Nicolau, 6’10” Spanish Center from the University of Minnesota Crookston NCAA II, signed in Leb Silver Spain for the 2020-21 season. Javier Nicolau attended Europrobasket’s European Summer League in June of 2019. During his time in the European Summer League he showcased himself to the president, sports director and coach of a Leb Plata team located less than an hour from the Europrobasket facilities. After completion of the summer league, Javier returned to finish his last season at the University of Minnesota Crookston, which competes in NCAA Division II in the USA. This will be Javier’s first season playing professional basketball in Europe. “I think Europrobasket is a great scenario for players who want to play overseas. There are a lot of players with a high level and you have real competition and challenges while playing. This training camp also help you to get use to the European basketball style. During my stay different agents and clubs talked to me, and one of them was part of the staff from where I signed this season.” – Javier Nicolau
