Michael Thompson III, 6’4″ American Small Forward from Indiana Wesleyan University NAIA, signed in Portugal for the the 2022-23 season. Following a strong collegiate career in both NCAA DII and NAIA, Michael attended EuroProBasket’s European Summer League in June of 2022. He had an impressive performance during his time in the program and ended up garnering attention from none other than his own coach in the Summer League. That same coach, along with the President of the team who was also in attendance of the summer league as well, made an offer to Michael that he could not refuse. Michael Thompson III signed his first contract to play professional basketball in Portugal.
