The EuroProBasket Euro Professional Program offers aspiring professional players an intensive training and game schedule simulating a professional European basketball season. With over a decade of experience helping players sign with teams, the program provides insider information on European basketball markets, contracts, and agents, equipping players with the keys to success in Europe.
Participants benefit from exposure to teams, coaches, general managers, scouts, and agents, and gain connections with professional teams across the European continent, including the distinguished Valencia Basket club. Players receive personalized game uniforms, warm-ups, and game film posted on the EuroProBasket YouTube channel, enhancing their visibility to potential teams.
Aspiring professionals learn European rules, systems, concepts, and tactics, and receive an introduction to European coaches, agents, and scouts, preparing them for a professional career in Europe.
Players aged 18 to 33 (with exceptions for high-level 16-17 year olds accompanied by an adult, inquire by email) receive top-tier training, including two practices per day with professional European FIBA-certified coaches and trainers, weight sessions, and highly competitive games. The program also provides access to physiotherapy/medical staff.
Where you train
We train and play at
L’Alqueria del Basket — 13 courts, the largest basketball training facility in Europe, and Valencia Basket’s own home. Two weight rooms, a fully staffed medical clinic, classrooms and a restaurant, all inside the building.
EuroProBasket is partnered with Valencia Basket, a club currently ranked among the top four in Europe. This is not a gym rented for a few weeks. It is a professional European club’s home, and you train in it every day alongside people who do this for a living.
We have been based here since 2018, and running programs in Spain since 2015. Over 400 players have signed or committed since, across more than 25 countries.

The Euro Professional Program is built for players ready to be seen, not players hoping to be discovered.
It fits if:
- You have finished college, or never went, and you are set on a first professional contract in Europe
- You are between 18 and 33
- You can train twice a day, five days a week plus games, for three weeks or more
- You hold a passport that lets you stay in Spain for the length of the program
- You want European clubs watching you play, instead of emails sitting unanswered
It is not the right program if:
- You do not want to work hard. Two sessions a day for weeks on end is the program, not the fine print.
- Your goal is exposure without improvement. Clubs sign players who got better, not players who turned up.
- You are not open to constructive criticism. Experienced coaches will correct you daily, and the players who move fastest are the ones who take it.
- You are carrying an injury that prevents you competing at a high level.

- Mornings — team practice: European systems, spacing, defensive rules
- Afternoons — second session: skill work and strength conditioning
- Game days — competitive games, filmed in full
- Film — every game posted to YouTube. The footage is yours, and ours to send to team contacts, scouts and agents in our network.

Three weeks gets you seen. Twelve weeks gets you ready.
The longer you stay, the more time you have to adapt to the European game — the spacing, the rules, the refereeing, all of it different from what you grew up on. More practices means more chance to actually change something in your game rather than just show what you already had. More games means more film for your highlight. And it gives us more time to find you the right fit, instead of the first fit.

Your film goes to clubs and agents across Europe, and introductions get made to the coaches and scouts who already know us. What happens next is the club’s decision — EuroProBasket is a platform, and takes no commission on our players going to teams, giving both the player and the team a competitive advantage.
What the program guarantees is the thing most players never get: being watched, on a European court, competing against European teams, and scouted by people who sign players.

How long is the Euro Professional Program?
The Euro Professional Program runs in 3, 6, 9 and 12-week blocks — 20, 40, 60 or 80 training days. It operates across two European windows: an August-to-December pre-season block, and a January-to-March block covering Europe's second signing period. Longer blocks give more clubs more chances to see you play.
What age do you have to be to join the Euro Professional Program?
Players must be between 18 and 33 years old. EuroProBasket makes occasional exceptions for high-level 16 and 17-year-olds who are accompanied by an adult. Younger players are directed to EuroProBasket's
Junior Programs, run in collaboration with Valencia Basket.
What is included in the Euro Professional Program?
Every block includes two practices a day with professional FIBA-certified coaches, competitive games against professional and semi-professional teams, game film, weight sessions, personalised game uniforms, and direct introductions to European coaches, agents and scouts. On accommodation-inclusive options a hotel stay in shared rooms with breakfast is also included. Players are taught European rules, systems and how the professional market works.

Can EuroProBasket help me get a visa for Spain?
Yes. Once registration and payment are complete, EuroProBasket provides an official invitation letter and a Spanish invoice (factura) confirming the program you have paid for, the accommodation and the dates. You submit those with your own documents when applying in your home country. Requirements depend on your citizenship, so check with your local Spanish consulate.
Does EuroProBasket guarantee a professional contract?
No. EuroProBasket never guarantees a player a team or a contract. What the program guarantees is exposure — during your stay you are seen by more European coaches, managers, agents and scouts than at any previous point in your career. EuroProBasket has placed over 400 players with their first overseas teams, but whether a club makes an offer depends on your level, basketball IQ, experience, work ethic and attitude.
