EuroProBasket is proud to announce that two of its promising players, Sebastian Nilsson and Taha Shakeel, are embarking on an exciting opportunity: a tryout with a team just outside of Valencia. This marks a significant step in the young careers of these dedicated athletes.
Sebastian Nilsson, an 18-year-old Swedish Small Forward, brings a versatile skill set to the court. Standing at 6’1”, Nilsson is known for his exceptional shooting, strong defensive awareness, and basketball IQ. His experience in international competitions, both with Swedish and Spanish clubs, highlights his ability to perform under pressure. A recognized leader, Sebastian is committed to continuous improvement and making an impact on both ends of the court.
Joining him on this venture is Taha Shakeel, an American Point Guard standing at 6’0”. Taha is characterized by his versatility, mobility, and athleticism. Beyond his physical attributes, he is recognized for his good character and strong work ethic, qualities that are highly valued in the European basketball environment.
Both players are currently with EuroProBasket. Sebastian previously played for Valencia Academy Junior B (2023–2025) and Alvik Basket in Stockholm, Sweden (2018–2023).
