After starting his career at Wisconsin-Parkside, where he was named the team’s Most Improved Player, he transferred to Missouri Southern State University for his junior and senior seasons. At Missouri Southern, he made an immediate impact, earning All-MIAA Honorable Mention honors in both the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons.
Known for his all-around offensive game, Vinson averaged 12.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game during his junior year. He consistently demonstrated his shooting ability, converting 44.8% of his field goals and 34.4% of his three-pointers.
