Vinson Sigmon Jr., an American point guard in the Euro Professional Program, is set to embark on the next chapter of his basketball journey. The 5’10” guard from the USA is leaving today for a tryout with a  team in Castellon, Spain, with the goal of securing a contract for the remainder of the season.

Vinson Sigmon Jr. brings a dynamic skill set and a proven track record from his successful collegiate career in the NCAA Division II. After starting his career at Wisconsin-Parkside, where he was named the team’s Most Improved Player, he transferred to Missouri Southern State University for his junior and senior seasons. At Missouri Southern, he made an immediate impact, earning All-MIAA Honorable Mention honors in both the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons.

Known for his all-around offensive game, Vinson averaged 12.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game during his junior year. He consistently demonstrated his shooting ability, converting 44.8% of his field goals and 34.4% of his three-pointers. His move to Europe represents the next step in his professional development, building on the foundation he established in the United States. A successful tryout in Castellon would not only mark his debut in European basketball but also underscore the Euro Professional Program’s role in helping American talent transition to the global stage. Sigmon Jr.’s determination and collegiate success position him for a bright future in the highly competitive world of European basketball.
