JERRY CARTER JR

Jerry Carter Jr, 6’4″ American Shooting Guard from Hampton University NCAA D1, signed a contract to play in Bogota, Colombia. Jerry had a short and inconsistent collegiate career in which he was unable to compete for full seasons due to various family reasons. He did however receive his degree and continued to workout, train and compete in local leagues around the Washington D.C. area. Jerry Carter Jr decided he wanted to give playing overseas a shot in which he attended the EuroProBasket European Summer League in June 2023. He had solid performances during his time in the program averaging 13.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.3 steals while shooting an impressive 73% from the two point and 41% from the three point line all within 18.8 mins and earning a 13.8 efficiency rating. Jerry was offered to various teams throughout Europe but the best offer came from a team in Bogota, Colombia in which he accepted. It was a short 1 month season in which he played 9 games and averaged 11.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
