Michael Kamunga, 6’2″ Canadian Guard from Cégep Outaouais Canada, signed in Alicante, Spain for the remainder of the 2024-25 season. Michael attended the European Summer League in May and June of 2024 following a few year hiatus from collegiate competition at Cégep de l’Outaouais College in Quebec back in 2018-19. During his time in the summer league Michael Kamunga averaged 7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1.5 steals. The performance was enough to catch the attention of a team a few months later over the holiday break during the halfway point in the season as EuroProBasket staff continued offering him to teams. Michael arrived to his new team this week and will play his first official game this weekend. Congratulations to Michael Kamunga on signing his first basketball contract overseas!
