EuroProBasket was privileged to have Gregor Fučka in the August Euro Professional Program 2024 to work with players and share his knowledge and experience. Gregor was one of the best big men in Europe during his era. Being both Slovenian and Italian, Fučka was an important player for the Italian National team. He represented top teams in Europe such as Olimpija Ljubljana, Trieste, Olimpia Milano, Fortitudo Bologna, FC Barcelona, Girona and Virtus Roma. Among the many accolades in Fucka’s career as a player, some of the top is being a EuroLeague champion (2003), FIBA EuroChallenge champion (2007), 2× Italian League champion (1996, 2000), 2× Spanish League champion (2003, 2004). He was awarded the FIBA EuroBasket MVP (1999), Mister Europa (2000), Euroscar (2000) and All-EuroLeague First Team (2001). Gregor has worked under some of the top European coaches and is now sharing his knowledge with the next generation of players.
