Anastasios Tasos Stougiannoudis

Head Coach Anastasios Stougiannoudis

Anastasios Stougiannoudis began his coaching career working with young players in Greece at Keraunos Oraiokstrou. He then moved to AS Kentauros Kallikrateias and Anagennisi Flogas. After four years with Greek club Anagennisi Flogas, he became the assistant coach at MAS Argonautis Kalamarias. In 2013, he joined the Jordan national team coaching staff with Vangelis Alexandris and Yiannis Livanos, helping them achieve sixth place in the tournament. He won the Cypriot Cup with Apoel Athletic FC during the 2015-2016 season. Tasos took the helm of EuroProBasket as Head Coach in November 2017 for three months and later in January of 2019 for the remainder of the season. Following his time at EuroProBasket, Tasos signed with Greek 1st league team Panionios as an assistant, followed by a a position as head coach in ENAD BC located in Cyprus.  The past 3 seasons he has had positions as an Assistant Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Tasos holds a BSc in Physical Education and Sports from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and completed postgraduate coaching studies at Loughborough University in England.
